With a master’s degree in economics from the Pontificia Universidade Catolica (PUC) of Sao Paulo and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Lavinia is recognized for her experience in structuring financial and capital market transactions, as well as for her role in corporate restructurings in Brazil and abroad. Her professional career also includes extensive experience in M&A, monitoring and coordination of tax and corporate management of domestic and global financial and non-financial conglomerates, and judicial and extrajudicial debt restructuring operations.
Currently, Lavinia also leads innovative projects in wealth management, advising individuals, families and their businesses in tax, corporate, and family and succession law matters. In this field, Lavinia has coordinated initiatives for structuring family governance, creating family legal structures, succession planning, asset protection, immigration and emigration, always in an integrated manner, combining technical and legal expertise, with a comprehensive understanding of the internal and external dynamics of family businesses.
Additionally, between 2006 and 2012, Lavinia was a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP) and, between 2016 and 2019, she was a professor at INSPER.
